About M·A·C Cosmetics

Who We Are
M·A·C (Make-up Art Cosmetics) was founded in Toronto in 1984 by makeup artist and photographer Frank Toskan and salon owner Frank Angelo. Frustrated by the lack of makeup that photographed well, they created their own. What began as a professional line for makeup artists grew into one of the world’s most iconic beauty brands. Part of The Estée Lauder Companies, M·A·C is sold in more than 100 countries and remains built on its founding spirit: All Ages, All Races, All Genders.
